Panda Motorworks & Garage126 Racing Announce Partnership In Pursuit of an American Rally Association Limited 2WD Championship

ST. PETERS, MO – AUGUST 23, 2023 — Panda Motorworks and Garage126 Racing announced a partnership today as the they are pursuing a championship in the Limited 2WD class of the American Rally Association. This partnership is in effect and the team will compete this weekend in the ARA Ojibwe Forests Rally.

Garage126’s Ford Fiesta ST R1.5 will be piloted by Sean Donnelly alongside Co-Driver Zach Pfeil. Donnelly currently sits atop the L2WD leaderboard after securing multiple podium finishes throughout the 2023 season. Donnelly brings his commitment to excellence and championship aspirations to the team.

“After spending the first few rallies carrying the logistics load and achieving some success while doing it, I realized I wanted to focus more on driving and less on everything else,” Donnelly said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to partner with Panda Motorworks to chase the dream. This year has been all about finishing rallies, gaining experience in different scenarios (e.g., surface types, weather conditions), learning to drive the car to it’s full potential, and building the team relationship while still competing for a National Championship.”

Panda Motorworks, led by Team Director Chris Bauer, will apply their Rally and Motorsports knowledge to facilitate all operations for the team. Panda Motorworks will handle all logistics, technical support, and R&D while also providing media coverage for the team.

“We are super excited for this partnership,” said Bauer. “It not only helps push our company further to succeed in the world of Motorsports, but also helps push Sean to achieve all of his racing goals. Together we can not only bring more brand awareness, but also bring home a championship in the foreseeable future!”

After securing the partnership with Garage 126 Racing, Panda Motorworks adds another team to its Racing Division alongside John Concha Motorsports, also competing in the ARA L2WD Championship.
